The above are Gasing (top) Pangkah (sorry, I dunno the English term for it) made by my dad for my girls. Yes, he make gasing and played gasing.
When he was younger, he even represented the Malacca state. I remembered that he flew to Kuching for a competition and got the opportunity to visit the Chief Minister home. Now, he is being paid by the state government to make the gasing pangkah.
Even though my dad is a pro in that game, until today, I still have not manage to spin the gasing!
