When I first got my own computer with internet connection that was after I got married, the first thing I did was download ICQ, sign up and waited to be wooed by men! hehe. See, even though you are married, still got people wants you! 
Sometimes I will chat till late night due to the time difference and neglected my hubby! That’s bad but I don’t regret it though. I make quite a number of good online friends through chat rooms.
Even though I am quite busy with blogging now, I still keep in touch with some of them and one that is still quite close to me is Khalil from Kuwait. I so called stood by him when he divorced his wife, had an affair with his neighbor’s wife even though I condemn that action and now he and his wife got back together for the sake of his 3 children. I even helped him draft a letter to China because his container caught fire at one of the China’s port. He was worried that the Chinese would not understand his English!
Besides ICQ, there is WireClub which offers free chat rooms too. You can even start a blog, join their interest club and coming soon, something like Friendster where you can meet your friends’ friends and free dating service. Check it out.
