Radiator
icon1 miche | icon2 Etc | icon4 06 20th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Thank God after a few months using the new radiator, I didn’t face any problem of heating up. It was really scary driving with the children then seeing the temperature rising up. The thought that my car might explode with my children in it is super scary.

If I were to have a choice that day, I would have chosen the Toyota Radiator. Unfortunately, the radiator shop near my place does not sell Toyota brand and we did not have the time to drive all the way to town to search for one.

It would be nice if Malaysia would have radiator online shop like Radiators.com.

Free Pizza for A Year
icon1 miche | icon2 Food | icon4 06 20th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

I still remember the first time I tried pizza. It was a homemade pizza baked by my classmate’s mom. I ate so much until I had stomach discomfort that night. Maybe I was not used to eating mozzarella so much at one go. Since then I always dream of baking my own pizza and managed to learn from my classmate’s mom during the school holiday.

In my country, mozzarella cheese is quite costly so, I saved my school allowances to buy the cheese and the other stuff people put on the pizza. Thank God I don’t have to save money to buy an oven!

I got a call from a church staff asking the reason of me missing church for a few weeks already. Well, I told her that my children is down with Chicken Pox, one after the other. She told me to be extra careful because the Chicken Pox virus can cause Shingles if my immune system is weak. This week, it is 2 against one! After putting down the phone, I quickly pop in the USANA Essential supplement. And will try to remember to take it religiously everyday.

Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, a member of the herpes virus family. The same virus also causes herpes zoster, shingles, in adults. After a chickenpox attack, the virus can lie dormant in the body for many years. Once reactivated, the virus quickly travels through nerve cells, causing rash and nerve pain; Shingles. source

Now I wonder whether the Chicken Pox virus is the cause of my neck pain! So far, I don’t see any red spots on my body! I am scared now!!!

I signed up for SocialSpark more than 2 weeks ago after much encouragement from my blogger friends. When I first signed up, I was lost there and until today, I still can’t find my way around it. There are too many things cluttered in one page but I some how managed to find the page to add my blog. I added all the codes required and waited. No reply from them on my blog approval after 2 weeks.

One of my blogger friends told me that I need to send ticket to them. I wasn’t in a rush so I sit on it until she told me that she get opp almost everyday. Ah! That was the magic word to make me budge and I sent the ticket. Got the reply the next that they will review this blog soon. I am still waiting for their approval.

As for my profile, nothing much there. I have only one friend, Ted Murphy! Once I get my blog approved, I will spend more time there looking around and visiting others’ profile to make better mine and make more friends like this one. She really has lots of friends. Meantime, I shall pray hard that they will approve my blog soonest possible. Eyes and hands itchy seeing lots of bloggers making good money from SocialSpark. :D

shoo

Squirrels are cute animal but when they started to eat all our durians and left none for us, they are no longer cute; they are a pest!!!

That is what MIL did to scare them away. Hang tins on the branch and shake it when she sees squirrel trying to attack the durians.

It is very fun for my children; making lots of noise. I was in lalaland dreaming about trying out sexy swimsuits when they started shaking will all their might. There goes my afternoon nap! :P

If you want to make some extra income from blogging. I would highly recommend that you get your own domain. It really pays to have your own domain and furthermore you have full control over your own website. However, it is easy to buy domain but to find a good host is quite a task. If you want to learn more about web hosting and where to find good and cheap web hosting, I suggest that you go read the web hosting articles. Besides recommending you where to find cheap web hosting, they even teach you how to host your own website!

One of the disadvantage of living in a kampung is you have grasses and weeds to tend. Not a small portion like those living in terrace house but they are everywhere, all around your house!

grass cutter

After painstakingly cutting the grass on the front lawn (it took me 3 evenings and one morning to complete it!), hubby to bought the real grass cutter. He bought the imitation ones; only RM325. The original cost RM800!

I told hubby that I wanna try to use it. It looks fun seeing him cut the tall grass away. So the day after that, I got my hand on it; backache put aside! Yes, I was having backache that day but I am not going to miss this chance of a lifetime.

cutting grass

Look at me go! It was really fun until the maid appeared telling me, “Sir, suruh saya belajar potong rumput.” Alamak! Orang tengah syiok, syiok ni, kacau saja. But I can’t say “No” right? Furthermore, I won’t have the time to cut the grasses around the house. So, I taught her. That was my first and hope not the last time holding that cool grass cutting machine! :D

Neck Sprain
icon1 miche | icon2 Health & Fitness | icon4 06 16th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

I am a living robot. I sprain my neck not right after getting up from bed but hours after that. I just put down my son on the chair to take something on the table and suddenly I felt a pull on my nerve at my neck; on the left side. I can’t turn to the left. I dare not push it for the fear that I will be paralyzed! So I just look to my right and walk to my bedroom to look for hubby to give me some massage. It does not help much though. Arrghh! At that point of time I wish I have the free medical blog widget on this blog. I might get the information on how to reduce the pain and what is actually happening to my nerve there.

Every month when our menses comes to visit, we whines, “So messy, stomach cramp, cannot swim, cannot do this and cannot do that etc.” But some would be very happy if you do not want to get pregnant lar; like me! Hahaha.

Today, after what I am going to share, everyone would appreciate their menses. Really!

All this while we see our menses as dirty and useless blood. Do you know that there are stem cells in our menstrual fluid? Research has shown that menstrual fluid contains self-renewing stem cells. These stem cells have many properties and characteristics similar to both bone marrow and embryonic stem cells; they multiply rapidly and can differentiate into many other types of stem cells such as neural, cardiac, bone, fat, cartilage and possibly others.

Stem cells from menstrual blood may potentially be utilized in the future to treat a host of life-threatening and debilitating medical conditions such as diabetes, stroke and heart disease, as well as neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and spinal cord injury etc. You can read them in detail at All About C’elle.

You can get your Celle Order Now or Become C’elle Distributor to make some extra income. :D

When people mentioned France, they will think of Eiffel Tower or the City of Love. Well, of course France is well known for that. Oh ya, not forgetting the tasty and delicious food. That reminds me of Ratatouile, the movie about the rat that can cook. Hahaha…everybody can cook. Even I can cook though the food would not be so tasty and delicious as in Ratatouile. Oh okay, enough about Ratatouile.

Rare Coin
icon1 miche | icon2 Finance | icon4 06 16th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

My first hobby was collecting stamps. That does not last long too as I do not have many friends to exchange them with. Then I started making friends from overseas and we started exchanging coins. The I started to have interest in my father’s rare coin collection. I think he found them when he was doing farming and when he travels. Do you know that Monaco have the finest rare coins available? Morgan silver Dollars, minted from 1878 to 1921, are America’s most-collected coins because of it’s beauty. To me this is a very expensive hobby unless you are rich.

Sweet Sour & Spicy Crabs
icon1 miche | icon2 Food | icon4 06 15th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

crabs

We had them for lunch and dinner. Yummy!

And this time, I left it to the experienced cooks; my MIL and the maid to cook them! But they used my recipe though. :D

Unfortunately, the crabs were not so fresh like the previous ones that I bought from Jusco.

Lesson learnt; pay a lil bit extra for fresh food.

Being a good Malaccan, I offered my help to Jazzmint to her buy some Buah Keluak. The last time she came to Malacca she didn’t know where to find them. Honestly, I myself NEVER buy Buah Keluak before! I have no idea where to get them actually but I guess all this stuff can be obtained from Pasar Besar.

3 reasons I went to market today…

1. To buy some Buah Keluak because Jazz colleague will be here in Malacca today. I made him drive all the way from Kota Laksamana to my kampung house to get the Buah Keluak for Jazz!

2. To stock some more food in the fridge. I bought some fresh fish, salted fish, anchovies, beef, chicken, squids and crabs. It is good to have a friend who is a fish monger; I don’t have to get my hands with fishy smell. :D

3. Hubby wants me to get some crabs because we thought The Chef is coming back today. Unfortunately, they postponed their trip to next week. So…I am going to try to cook the crab again tomorrow. I hope that it won’t get burnt like my first try!

Metallic Dark Red Car
icon1 miche | icon2 Family | icon4 06 14th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

That will be the colour of hubby’s car next week. We went to the auto parts shop in my kampung on Thursday to inquire about the price and also whether they can fix my car door; they can! And the owner recognized me! “Eh, you anak dak Chai kan?” Opps! I still have my dad’s resemblance! I thought I don’t look much like my dad anymore like when I was a teenager.

Since we are not buying any new car, we gonna just spend some money to make new the existing cars. I think I wanna re-paint my red junk too. Not metallic colour though; too expensive. I am thinking of very light purple. My 2nd girl favorite colour. :D

Itchy Face
icon1 miche | icon2 Beauty & Fashion | icon4 06 12th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Instead of my nose, my face itch now and pimples are starting to pop up and black heads and white heads are more prevalent now. I might need to start using the natural acne treatment to get rid of those “pest” but I am thinking for a quick remedy like going for a facial therapy. I wonder whether that would help to really clean my face.
