I just ate this for lunch.
Paid RM3.50 per packet.
And NO, I don’t crave for this Char Siew Rice. It is just that I am in Kg Hulu to buy tidbits for hubby’s shop and Bunga Raya is nearby. And it is still early, before lunch time so the road won’t be jammed and the shop won’t be packed with customers.
It does come with Kangkong or Fried Cabbage if you want to and some like eating them with curry. As for me, I just like them original.
What’s so special about this Char Siew Rice? I am not so sure about others but I like their gravy. It is not so thick and not so sweet; just nice.
Just now when I eat it, I don’t really like the Char Siew pork taste anymore; too sweet. I prefer the roasted pork. I guess my taste bud changed during pregnancy.
