Last week I read in the Malay newspaper that an expecting mother discovered her 9 months old baby in her tummy went missing a day before she is due! She had stomach discomfort a day before and the next day when she went for ultra-sound, there is no sign of the baby and the doctors (she went for 2nd opinion too) said that there is no sign of her being pregnant at all! That is real spooky coz she has an ultra-sound picture of her baby in her tummy before that.
Yesterday, a friend told me that her colleague wanted to abort her 21 weeks baby just because she has cleft lips and palate. She said that she doesn’t want the baby to suffer. To abort, she will give birth via c-sec (I guess) and let the baby die naturally outside the womb. This is so cruel. If she really does it, to me she rather live with a guilt of a murderer than take up the challenge of raising this special child.
There is 19 more weeks to go. Anything can happened. God can perform miracle. Technology can go wrong. What if the baby is born perfect?

Why not we ask her whether we can adopt the baby? Just don’t kill the baby. The baby is precious before the Lord.

thats indeed cruel. its only cleft lip and not other serious cacat! how cld she intend to abort the bb? some ppl are not blessed with kids at all. if she really does that, then i wld say she will be a lousy bad person!

My elder sis’s son also has cleft lips. After few round of surgeries, he is ok now & he is an intelligent boy too!
