I can’t walk!!! My right pelvic bone is the culprit. I can’t put pressure on it. P.A.I.N.!!!And I can’t skip using my left leg because I am pregnant!
I really got up on the wrong side of the bed. Last night I was lying down on her bed and her soft, comfy pillow and I dozed off till this morning. I normally sleep on my contour pillow you see.
Or isn’t due to the gentle leg massage that hubby gave before I go to bed.
Or isn’t due to the “kok yok”. The white patch that old people like to stick on their body or head to ease the pain. I tried it on my right shoulder, hoping it will get rid of the slicing pain on my lower right shoulder.
But then arh…maybe baby is pressing on one of the nerves at the right pelvic.
I want to PU so badly but couldn’t walk to the toilet even with hubby’s help. So I get him to bring me the potty! Yup, my pain is that bad.
We are going to have a BONEY Chinese New Year this year!
The parent of one of my sister’s students is a pork seller and he is going to give some pork bones to us for FREE.
Then I got an email from one of my BILs that one of my SILs bought 4kg of pork bones.
That was yesterday.
I just received an email from another SIL that she will buy some pork bones and chicken bones to bring back home.
What are we going to do with so much bones???
I was telling one of my BILs that we should let the dogs feast too during this Chinese New Year.
Btw, the bones are for the steamboat soup.
We really need (I mean they, not me) weight loss supplements after this CNY is over.
With all the cookies, BBQ and hot weather, I am sure some of us will get a sore throat. This year we are prepared to reduce that risk of falling sick during this festive season.
Take a look at what my eldest BIL has prepared for all of us!

Young coconuts from his palm oil estate.
Unfortunately I can only see others enjoying the sweet coconut water and the soft coconut flesh because I am pregnant! I am only allowed to drink coconut water a month before my due date!
Maybe I’ll just take a sip…or two.
My eldest BIL came last weekend with a few bags of sand for the base of the tents. Some of us have to camp outside the house this CNY! Even though we are living in a house with 7 rooms but when everyone returns, 7 rooms are not enough. I might sleep over with my children at my parent’s place so that others can use our room. Btw, our room comes with free internet access; a laptop and a desktop. Who wants to book first???

We have 3 swings now at home. It was 3 swings before but one was removed because hubby chopped of the branch of the rambutan tree that was holding it recently. Instead of 2 swings at the rambutan tree and 1 at the durian tree, now we have 2 at the durian tree and 1 at the rambutan tree.
Eh, actually we have another swing at the back of the house, under a rambutan tree too. The one that the children love to twist it many many times then let go to make them dizzy!
Any bloggers coming to Malacca this CNY? You are most welcome to visit us. I am sure your kids would love our place.
You might have heard the phrase people say in disgust, “All lawyers are the same”. Maybe they are talking about something that is in common among the lawyers, more on the negative point. Lawyers are known to be sly and shrewd in their dealings, often seen as someone who is heartless, without compassion, only want to win the argument or case. The movies that Hollywood produces do not help either. In order to gain profit, the story is made to either portray the lawyer as extremist in their conduct.
Let me tell you, all lawyers are not the same. They may be seemed to be heartless but that is just the facade, the requirement resulted from the pressures of their work. Each lawyer is unique in his or her own personality and knowledge.
And not all lawyers are expert in all areas of law. Most lawyers would end up specializing in certain areas of law. Again this would depend on his/her own interest and the needs of the community/companies. When the case involves federal law, it is best to find federal lawyers to handle such cases. Do not ask a family law state lawyer to handle federal cases. Go find the Federal Lawyer. Not all lawyers are the same.
My lower right abdomen pain has returned.
This hinders me from doing many things. All I want to do is not move; lie down or just sit down so that I won’t feel the pain.
This time I don’t care. Let them think that I am lazy as long as I don’t suffer pain.
Yesterday, I tried helping my mom with cutting of the Pineapple tarts’ frills but after 5 trays (around 100pcs), I can’t bear the slicing pain on my lower shoulder. I stopped and go home to rest.
Now I am thinking twice whether to encourage my children to be active in sports. The shoulder pain was due to the injury I had when I was playing Softball in Secondary school. The pain comes and go. Once I use too much of my right arm, the pain will trigger.
My lower abdomen pain was due to D&C during my first pregnancy. Regretted doing it at the government hospital! Since then, I can’t walk too long, I can’t run, I can’t jog, I can’t play so many kind of sports that requires lots of jerking like squash or badminton and others, I can’t carry heavy things and I can’t feel stress up.
Consulted few doctors but they can’t find anything wrong with it. They say, the only way is to cut me up and see what’s wrong inside! Like that also got arh??? All they can say is that it must have something to do with the muscle and nothing much can be done about it.
Looks like I will suffer this pain for the rest of my life until and unless God answers my prayer.
I spoke too soon again!
I thought my Nyonya Pineapple Tarts baking for CNY is done with but this morning hubby received a call from his shop’s landlord ordering 15 containers of 10 pcs each! He will collect them this Saturday.
Since my mom already booked her oven for the next 3-4 days to bake her orders of the tarts (almost 1000pcs!). I can only bake mine on Friday. That would give sufficient time for my shoulder to heal, if not at least the pain would subsides by then.
Due to the injury, I can’t even stir the garlic and onion in the wok. Thank God hubby was around so I just throw whatever I need and he became my right hand.
Have you watch Madagascar 2? If you have then you would know of a Hippo character name Moto Moto.
Hubby was watching the cartoon with the girls and my eldest said to her daddy that Moto Moto is him!
I totally agree with her association! The Hippo is huge, have broad shoulder and he dances like hubby too!
And they surely needs the fat burners to shed of the rounded tummy! hahaha
I have completed baking for all the orders that I have in hand. I felt so lost now! Nothing to look forward to tomorrow except the usual thing I do every Sunday; rush to get ready for church.
Wondering how much profit I make? Just enough for 2 nights stay in Tiara Beach Resort, PD. Maybe I would just do that with the income since I really need the break. Actually hor, the holiday is more for my children.
But then hor, still can’t go. No one to replace hubby’s place at his shop.
*sigh* I will just use the money to pay up my credit card bills and a red meat dinner to boost up my hemoglobin level!
I dozed off at the clinic a few times because I slept only 4.5 hours that morning (3am – 7.30am). The service at the government clinic was way too slow yesterday. I waited more than 1 hour before I got called for tummy check up (that’s the last procedure before I can go home).
I weigh at 57.1kg. Only 1kg increased since last check-up that was almost a month ago. I guess all the baking and lack of nap helps to burn whatever fat left in my body. haha.
Like my other pregnancies, my hemoglobin level is low; less than 11 (can’t remember the measurement used). I was prescribed with Iberet Folic to help increase it. No wonder I often have short black outs the moment I stood up.
I am sure I won’t have problem during my next check-up next month because it will be a week after CNY. With all the BBQ, Steamboat and Yummy Cookies, I am sure my hemoglobin level will be normal. Provided I eat lar.
Or maybe I shall drink blood a day before my next check up!
At this stage I started experiencing leg cramps at night especially when I forgot to wear socks when I sleep. My legs will fail me too when I go shopping especially when the air-conditioner is too cold. Maybe I should get a shoe like the Timberline keen shoe to keep my feet comfy and warm when shopping in cold shopping complexes. Since I can’t afford it right now, I have no choice but to refrain myself from going shopping too often.
