First Day in a Chinese School

Woke up at 6.30am then wake my eldest up at 6.45am to get her ready for school. Today is her first day in Primary One.

I have made a mental plan on how to go about today since last night.

Wake up. Send my girl to school. Come home, heat up left-over food, fried eggs, veggie and cook baby’s food. Dump bajus in washing machine. 9.45am send baby to my mom then go back to school to teach my girl on how to buy food from the canteen then bring my No.2 & 3 to kindy to buy books and uniform.

Thank God, there is a slight change and I am able to sit down here to blog about it right now. ;)

Woke up. Send my girl to school. Came home, baby woke up! Feed baby some bread. Cook while carrying baby with one hand! Thank God he wanted to sit in his walker while I was preparing the ingredients to cook. 9.45am send baby and my other 2 to my mom’s together with the slow cooker with baby’s food inside (half way cooking). Then come home to pack lunch and dinner for hubby then rush back to my girl’s school to assist her to buy food from the canteen. After she is done eating, brought her to the library and told her she can hang around there while waiting for recess time to be over.

Back in her class, I saw there is a time table written on the blackboard BUT it is in Chinese! Thank God there is a prefect around and I got her to translate for me. :D Then I left for home. Dump laundry in the washing machine and here am I. :D

Time to go now. Hang bajus then quenched my baby’s thirst with my milk then fetch my girl at 1.35pm.

Thank God that the kindy hours has changed to 8am to 12noon. So tomorrow, I don’t have to make 2 trips in the morning to send my children to school and kindy but I pity my son coz he has to wake up as early as his elder sister. My 2nd girl no problem; she always wake up early.
