After 2 days eating canteen food, my eldest girl complaints that the amount is too little. I totally agrees with her. If I eat it arh….3-4 spoonful gone liau. She can easily wallop 3 bowls of it! Expensive some more pulak tu. One bowl of rice (chicken rice or nasi lemak) is RM1 and noodles, RM0.80.
So, she requested me to cook for her! Aiyoyo! Have to wake up earlier.
But how could a mommy say “No” right? So, from tomorrow onwards, waking up time is 5.30am instead of 6.30am. The problem is, I am so used to sleeping at 2.30am! Looks like when they nap, I MUST nap too.
When can I do housework then? Hmmm…must re-plan my schedule or let baby chase me around in his walker when I do sweeping and mopping.
Gee! Motherhood is getting more interesting each year.

My son also doesn’t eat canteen food, I prepare food for him. Hehehe..he is in afternoon school, so I need not wake up so early.
Does she like sandwich, you can make a huge sandwich for her.
if u wish to do fried rice or meehoon, u can get ready the ingredient at nite, then next day just goreng only….save time!(lazy ppl like me always find short cut wan…LOL)
I still can remember my canteen food during my primary and secondary school. Those days, the packed food were cheaper and bigger portion. I guess it would be better to pack from home for our kids. healhty and filling. Like Jess said, get the ingredients ready the night before, so you just cook in the morning. I actually did pack from home when I was in my previous company. I cooked for hubby to bring to work, so i ready my ingredients the night before and next morning woke up around 6am to cook. Just heat up in the office during lunch time. :p
