Plastic Bottles and Cans for School

Is it true that all Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan are semi-private school? Do they receive full financial support from the Government? I was told that they receive very little. Due to that they have to look for other means of getting for income for the school. One of it is to collect papers, plastic bottles and cans for recycle.

Since the school my daughter attends is a “tiny” school, I help within my means; they have less that 30 students per class and only one class for each Standard. Just like my time. :) I think all the teachers know me already; the Recycle Mommy!. So today, I just sent one gunny sack of plastic bottles and cans each to my eldest daughter’s school for recycle. I have 2 more gunny sacks of plastic bottles. That will be 2 more trips to school. I is femes coz I don’t see other mommies bring “rubbish” to school. hahahahaha. Hope my “rubbish” can help them buy preschool furniture or whatever lar for the comfort of the teachers and students. ;)
