This year, I received the most birthday wishes, thanks to Facebook.

This year, I did not receive any birthday present because I basically have everything that I need. I actually wanted an electric sewing machine. Something that I often use these days. But looking at the money that that flown out since last month, I couldn’t bring myself to tell hubby what I wanted for my birthday present this year. Being a wife, we must be realistic lar eh…if you know your hubby cannot afford to buy you a certain gift don’t lar demand for it. He loves you, he will surely buy but he will be swiping his credit card or borrowing from others. I will never let hubby do this for me.

God knows we do not have much. I even fell sick a few days before my birthday that prevented me having the mood to eat and go out celebrating my birthday. I think this year, we spent the least on my birthday and I am happy with it. I was on the way to recovery from the gastric attack without needing to see the doctor. I got lots of hugs and kisses from my children and hubby after the clock strikes 12. Everyone love the cheese cake that I pick as my birthday cake. We went to watch a movie in the afternoon and later at night enjoyed watching my children having fun at the playground. When my loved ones are happy, I am happy.

It is December and we have December Babies in the family; they are none other than my 2nd girl and her daddy! Their birthday is just a week apart. My 2nd girl will be celebrating her 6th birthday and as agreed, no birthday party until they turn 7yo. We planned to celebrate her birthday at J.Co. Donuts. Gonna buy a cute pink bunny birthday cake from Jusco, J.Co.’s fruit yoghurt and some J.Co. Donuts. After that we are gonna head over to the playground and let them play till their hearts content. So easy to please the little ones but what about Daddy?

I could buy gold coins. He would be more than happy than buying other gifts that does not gives him much returns in the future. So money minded eh? hehehe. So far, he did mentioned he will treat me with beef steak lunch on his birthday coz I can’t have it during mine coz I got gastric attack and after that Narnia 3D. Maybe I will surprise him with a whole body massage after that.
