No one ever told me how expensive getting old is! First of all, all the regular doctors appointment I have to keep up with are pretty pricey, and on top of all that, the prescriptions added up even further. I recently determined that it is time to look into hearing aids since I wasn’t hearing my wife as well this website, http://hearingaids.miracle-ear.com/hearing_aid_prices.html, where to try to find a good deal. Our active adult community was pretty much bleeding me dry already in since she and I both hope to stay retired, saving money where we can is the best solution. It’s obviously really nice to have all the time in the world and to be able to go see the kids whenever we feel like it. I’m not sure they love our random unannounced visit, but that’s all part of being an adult! My doctor says I’m nearly as healthy as a horse and I’ve probably got decades left to live… Let’s hope that’s not true, because I’ll never be able to afford it!
