They were right above me and it was awesome! I was so worried that the sparks will drop into my eyes. 
Surprise! Surprise! All of us were surprised to see one of my cousins (my mom’s side). We only meet him once a year; during the Chinese New Year. Last year, he was just the average size boy; not too thin and not too fat, just nice. This year he surprised all of us. He is fat! His mom told us that he loves eating rice, lots of them. I remember him as a very skinny boy when he was a toddler. You see, my mom babysat him when he was small. Anyway, he is only 10 years old. This is just another growing up phase. I am sure he will slim down when he is a teenager. If not there is always the quick trim burn and cleanse to help him slim. 
To prevent hair loss, I seldom use conditioner after shampooing my hair. My shampoo comes with conditioner but it isn’t enough to make my hair soft and moist. It is because I am using an anti-dandruff shampoo. It really freaks me out with the amount of hair that will drop when I use conditioner. I wonder why conditioner makes the my hair drops/breaks so much. Did you experience the same? Or my hair is just unhealthy.
This year a few of our nieces and nephews have been upgraded to the grown ups table. The nieces are excited because they are no longer the outcast. We have special table for the children, away from the adults table. But they get o eat first you know. The nephews are not so excited about this upgrading. I guess boys grow up slower and they want to quickly have their dinner and play rather than enjoy their dinner slowly with the adults and talk. I guess we have to wait till they are really grew up like when they started need the acne treatments, or when their voice “broke” then only we upgrade them to the grown ups table.
We just came back from visiting 8 houses today. We are supposed to go to one more house but I can guarantee that once we reached home, none of us will want to leave the house. The weather is so hot but none of us wants to break this once a year tradition. We brave the heat and drink lots and lots of water. Thank God I do not have any eczema if not I will surely need to seek eczema treatment under this kind of super hot weather. So, here am I inside my room with the air-cond full blast blogging away.
I am here to wish all my beloved readers a Happy Chinese New Year. And if you are in Malacca this Chinese New Year and have no where to hang out tomorrow night, please come to my open house. We are having a BBQ & ABC night. 
If you have kids, do come before the sunsets so that they can have fun playing at my house “playground”. But please bear with the mess in my house. Too many people living under one roof. My bedroom has turned into a store room with office supplies, school bags, books, plastic bags, boxes etc are all over the floor!
Chinese New Year is approaching and my body decided to shutdown for maintenance since 2 days ago! I had terrible headache, nauseous, fever and sore-throat. Due to it I was in lying in bed most of the time. So, I get my girls to pack the Angpow packets for me. Later hubby’s niece came to help when my girls got bored doing the same thing over and over again.
When it is done, there is an extra packet for RM5 and RM1 short for the RM2 Angpow packet! For the RM5 Angpow packet, it can mean 2 things; either one packet is empty or I counted the notes wrongly. As for the RM1 Angpow packet, I am sure one of them has a RM3 in it! So, whoever got the empty RM5 Angpow, please don’t cuss me and the one that got the RM3 Angpow, that will be your extra blessings this year.
To those that does not need to pack any Angpow packets with your bonuses, be sure to spend it wisely. It is a good time to buy gold bullion now because gold price has dropped and will definitely increase again after the Chinese New Year.
MIL already made Kuih Belanda/Kuih Kapit, Kuih Ros and Bangkit Sagu. That’s all from her this year. Next it will be my turn to contribute some cookies to our CNY spread. With a baby around, I chose the simplest cookies to bake. They are the Nestum Cookies and Chocolate Chips Cookies. I will bake them on Tuesday and Thursday. The day I do not have to send and fetch my eldest girl for extra class.
Ok lar…I better go shopping for the ingredients now. Toodles! (8.29am).
Hubby was asking me whether we should just serve ABC during our CNY open house. We could do that but do we have the energy to shave the ice since out ice shaver is not automated? Looking back at our Christmas party, our ABC was a big hit leaving behind so much the sunmelon with sago drink. Oh wel, I guess I just start making the ice and let them decide later when the time come. Should I prepare some print out on the colonix reviews too? All the artifical colouring and BBQ food will surely make our colon screams to be cleanse.
This year we are going to have DIRECTV Specials for Chinese New Year. I am sure there will be lots of interesting show and movies during this festive holiday. I am one that does not like to go visiting during CNY. Not that I don’t like meeting close relatives. I dread going in and out of the car under the hot scorching sun. It is like going into an oven after each house we visited. If possible, I want to stay at home, watch DIRECT TV Specials and entertain guess that I hardly know.
DIRECT TV Offers are too good to resist. I think I can use my baby as an excuse to stay home this year since my 9.5mo baby is still breastfeeding on demand. I can’t be “flashing” my boobs to those relatives that I only meet once a year.
Oh ya! Hubby has to attend church on that day too coz he will be on duty. So we got to wait for him to come home before we start visiting. Meantime, I shall glue myself infront of the idiot box, munching on CNY cookies and watching DIRECTTV Specials while breastfeeding my baby to sleep.
